Funding & Fees
The North Morrow Vector Control District is a publicly funded special district operating under Oregon local budget law. Our year-round mosquito control and public health services are funded entirely through county property taxes:
- Permanent Tax Rate: $0.1899 per $1,000 of assessed property value.
- Local Option Levy (Measure 25-102): $0.1000 per $1,000 of assessed property value.
Service Fees: Because our operations are fully covered by these property tax allocations, we do not charge residents direct fees for mosquito surveillance, property inspections, adulticide fogging, or biological control resources (like mosquito fish). All standard services within our 274-square-mile district boundaries are provided at no additional cost
