Public Record Request Policy
The North Morrow Vector Control District is committed to transparency and complies with the Oregon Public Records Law (ORS 192.311 to 192.478). This law ensures that every person has the right to inspect non-exempt public records maintained by state and local government bodies in Oregon.
Submission and Timeline
- Requesting Records: Requests for public records may be submitted by any person.
- Acknowledgment: The District will acknowledge receipt of a request within five business days.
- Fulfillment: The District aims to fulfill requests or provide a written estimate of the completion date within ten business days after the initial acknowledgment.
Exemptions and Fees
While the District strives for full disclosure, certain records may be exempt from public disclosure under specific state or federal laws. Additionally, the District may charge a fee reasonably calculated to reimburse the actual cost of making the records available.
